How it works
A cost estimate runs against your plan before you apply anything, compared against your environment or team budget as a policy input — an over-budget change can be blocked, not just flagged. After apply, scheduled jobs sync real spend from each cloud's billing API to reconcile estimate against actuals.
If a proposed change would push spend over the team's monthly budget, the budget-cap policy can block the apply outright — the cost estimate isn't just a number shown for information, it's an input the policy engine can act on.
